Bridal MAKEUP
TRIAL....
I strongly advise all brides I work with to book a trial at least three months before their big day. This will give me the opportunity to really get to know you and your style and work according to that. I always advise brides to send me any ideas of make-up looks they like so I can review this information before the trial.
The trial will last between one and two hours and during this time we will discuss in depth your vision for your day. I always make a file for each bride I work with which contains information on all the make up and colours used on the trial day and any additional information I will require to create the perfect look for you.
I will work with your likes and dislikes, style of wedding dress, hair style and accessories as well as any other details or concerns you might have to ensure you feel 100% happy and comfortable on your special day.
on the day....
I like to arrive with plenty of time before your wedding so I can get set up and find a spot with the best lighting. Make-up on the bride usually takes between an hour and an hour and a half depending on the desired look. Make-up on members of the bridal party usually takes up to forty five minutes. I would suggest the bride be ready up to an hour before the ceremony which will give enough time to get changed, get pictures taken and soak up the atmosphere!
There is nothing worse than having a rushed wedding morning and I will ensure that you have plenty of time to enjoy and relax during the process. I will be on hand to help in any way I can and most importantly I will ensure you are feeling and looking beautiful!
SPECIAL EVENT MAKE-UP
I also offer special occasion make-up for events such as parties, proms, hen nights amongst others. If you are going to a special event and want to feel that extra bit special then I am happy to be at service. You are more than welcome to send me pictures of any make-up you are inspired by.
Make-up lessons
Being a qualified teacher with a PGCE I am available to teach you how to get the best out of your make-up and how to achieve the make-up looks that you admire. If you are getting married abroad and want to learn how to perfect your make-up for your special day or you just want to learn some new make-up techniques then get in touch.
I am happy to travel to your location. First 25 miles are free, thereafter will be a charge of 45p per extra mile. I do ask for a £30 deposit for bridal make-up, packages and lessons. I require a £10 deposit for all others. This will be deducted from your total balance. If a trial is required this will be paid for on the day of trial. The deposit will be due at time of booking. Full payment for wedding makeup is required a month prior to event. Cancellations: If you decide to cancel the booking three months before the event 30% of the remaining balance would be required, two months before event 50% required, one month before event 100% of balance required. Why is this in place? As clients book their makeup so far in advance a cancellation is difficult to fill. Once a deposit is paid your date is made unavailable to other clients, potential clients are turned away due to your security deposit being paid, therefore I am unable to fill the cancelled date at such short notice.
